Kicks Info: During Tim Duncan's rookie season, he wore a pair of shoes called Air Total Max Uptempo. It featured a lot of air pockets (hence "Total Max"), with fore foot air pocket and heel pocket. They were also position-specific, meaning these shoes were best for people playing center or power forward, Duncan's position.

My Story: Neon Yellow air, neon yellow Nike swoosh, the rest of the shoes were black. It was a total, pure display of Nike and its air technology. I just didn't like them at all. But later the more I looked at them the more I liked them. Finally when I decided to buy them, they were all sold out everywhere!! I was really desparate and I told other people to help me find them. Finally I found them in a Footlocker in downtown. They had only one pair left, and it was my size!! This taught me a lesson: if you see the shoes you like, BUY THEM. Don't wait until the price go down. And I told myself to never make this kind of mistakes again.
